Trouble Feeding Certain Ammo

I hear this is a nice little gun - and I bought (2) of them - but I had trouble with Federal Premium .380 Auto Low Recoil hollow point ammo feeding properly into the chamber. Both P-3AT's experienced the same feeding problem. I switched out to American Eagle .380 regular ammo and the rounds chambered, appropriately. Otherwise, the only other problem is that I thought my wife and daughter would enjoy the light weight P-3AT but found out neither had enough hand/finger strength to pull the slide. If you're considering a purchase for a lady, be sure and test this out.

This little gun is probably the best conceal pistol out there because of its small imprint. It is light weight so it doesn't pull on your close as larger frame pistols. I was told to allow for a break-in period by running a couple of hundred rounds through it. With bad ammo, it jammed regularly, but, after break-in, I've not had one problem. The gun is extremely accuate, especially for its short barrel. The only issue I can consider is because of such a short/small grip, it stings my hand, but, not my wife's. Simply an outstanding conceal and carry weapon.

Carry - a - bility

I have a back injury and this little pistol was much easier to carry than my usual 9mm. I had to switch to a Beretta .380 for a day and it caused my back to flare up. It is 3 times the weight and size. I've been carrying this one for 2 years. Love it. Shot it at the range and it is very manageable. I added a laser sight.
