Retired 30 year Coast Guard officer with a CCW for over 37 years. After reading the February 2010 NRA American Rifleman magazine which compared 9 concealed carry .380 pistols, I decided to go out and check some of them out myself. Started with looking at the Kel-Tec P3AT at a local gun shop and after talking with the owner of the shop for awhile about the pistol, he produced his own personal P3AT from a pocket holster which he carried in his back pocket. It was equipped with a Crimson Trace laser ]LG-430 model[ and his pocket holster was from Crimson Trace also and was designed specifically for the P3AT pistol with a laser. OK, I said to myself.... what is more impressive than a gun shop owner with the choice of ANY CCW weapon deciding to personally carry the P3AT? I purchased the Kel-Tec and 2 boxes of cheap .380 FMJ ammo from him that day. Ran both boxes of ammo through the gun the first day that it was shot and the 3RD shot was a failure to feed. The remaining 97 shots at a 25 foot distance were flawless and suprisingly accurate. Have a couple of Colt .380 Mustangs that are not nearly as accurate or just plain fun to shoot as the Kel-Tec! In summary, buy one, you will not be disappointed.....now have a Colt Pocket Nine that will be sold or traded with plans on replacing it with a Kel-Tec PF-9. P.S. My Kel-Tec now has a Crimson Trace laser and pocket holster

A great little C.C. weapon. Right out of the box it fed everything I gave it including reloaded hollowpoints. I would give 5 stars if it held open upon last shot. All I can say is buy one or two even.
